BIG CHANGES at LOVE CAKE!! 

Virginia has taken over the day to day running of the business from Silvana, as of October 2011.

This is a very exciting change for Virginia, who is thrilled to be the new owner of Love Cake Company. She intends to build on Silvana's fantastic creation, and bring you, with Silvana's help, new and equally fabulous Love Cake products.

What's more exciting is that Silvana is spending her time creating new sumptuous Love Cake recipes.  Watch this space, we will have fabulous new Love Cake Products available soon.

The Auckland Gluten Free and Allergy Show 2012 was the launch pad for our two latest products, Simply Divine Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding mix and Zingy Lemon Muffin mix.  We had a huge turnout at the stand and it was great to see such overwhelming enthusiasm for all our products, both the new ones and our old favourites.

The Wellington Gluten Free and Allergy Show has been our most recent exciting event. 

Again our new products, Simply Divine Chocolate Self Saucing Pudding mix and Zingy Lemon Muffin mix were a resounding success!  It was great to meet so many people who are at the coalface dealing with allergies and intollerances on a day to day basis.  It was even better to find that for most of them, one Love Cake product or another, or all of them were safe (and delicious) for them to eat!

I spent a fabulous day in February of this year, at the Allergy NZ Birthday Bash in Rocket Park, Mt Roskill.  It was a great day, the people from Allergy NZ created a fantastic environment where children with multiple allergies could safely sample the food and partake fully in the day.

It was very rewarding for me to meet with parents and kids alike, and understand their needs a little better and spread the Love Cake message...There really is a fantastic allergen free baking mix available. 

Well done Allergy NZ, we hope to be there again next year, so come along and support this wonderful organisation who help so many families to cope with living with allergies.
